Air Cleaner and Air Intake System

4. Do not wash the paper element and inner
element or use compressed air, this will damage
ȱǯȱȱ¢ǰȱȱȱȱ
elements with new genuine Kohler elements as
required. Handle the new elements carefully;
ȱȱȱȱȱȱȱȱȱȱ
damaged.
ȱ śǯȱ ȱȱȱȱǰȱǰȱȱǰȱȱ
that ejector area is clean. See Figure 4-4. Replace
any damaged components.

air cleaner housing.
7. Reinstall the end caps and secure with the
retaining clips. See Figure 4-1.
Air Cleaner Components
Whenever the air cleaner cover is removed, or the

Air Cleaner Inlet - ȱȱȱȱȱȱȱ

Breather Tube - ȱȱȱȱȱĴȱȱȱ
ȱȱȱȱȱȱǯ
NOTE: Damaged, worn or loose air cleaner
ȱȱȱęȱȱȱȱ
engine causing premature wear and failure.
Tighten or replace all loose or damaged
components.
Air Intake/Cooling System
