5. Install the Trim

Remove and discard the plaster guard and/or dome from the

valve stem, if installed.

For wall thickness of 3/16″ (5 mm) to 7/16″ (1.1 cm): Attach the

retainer to the valve stem with the #10 screws provided.

For wall thickness of 7/16″ (1.1 cm) to 3/4″ (1.9 cm): Place the

spacer onto the valve stem, then attach the retainer to the valve

stem with the #10 screws provided.

Install the faceplate onto the retainer. The cutout on the faceplate

should face downward.

Install the pivot ring to the faceplate, and rotate clockwise to lock

in place. The pivot ring should be situated with the cutout

aligned with the faceplate cutout.

Rotate the valve stem fully counterclockwise to the ″OFF″

position.

Position the deep end of the stem adapter onto the valve stem.

The outer sides of the stem adapter should be positioned as

horizontal and vertical as possible.

Attach the stem adapter with the supplied screw.

Ensure the O-ring is positioned in the groove on the inside of the

handle assembly.

Align the handle to the ″OFF″ position. Hold the handle in the

″OFF″ position and thread the handle assembly securely onto the

retainer.

Discard dome.
