1. Prepare the Site

Measure and mark 32″ (81.3 cm) up from the ﬂoor. This will be the height from

the ﬂoor to the top of the 2x6 backing material.

Ensure there are no obstructions in the wall (such as wiring or plumbing) from

the marked height down to the ﬂoor. If there are obstructions, select another area

within the site to install the console table.

NOTE: Extend the backing material beyond the width of the console table to the

nearest stud. This will ensure proper support for the console table.

Front-notch the studs 1-1/2″ (3.8 cm) to ensure the 2x6 backing material is ﬂush

against the studs.

Secure the 2x6 backing material to the studs with framing nails.

Rough in the water supply and drain lines into the rough-in plumbing area. Refer

to the ″Roughing-In″ section for proper placement.

Complete the ﬁnished wall. Make sure the ﬁnished wall is straight and plumb,

and the ﬂoor is ﬂat and perpendicular to the ﬁnished wall.

Mesurer et marquer 32″ (81.3 cm) vers le haut à partir du sol. Ceci sera la hauteur

REMARQUE: Étendre le matériel de renfort au-delà de la largeur de la console

jusqu’au montant le plus proche. Cela assurera le support approprié pour le console

de table.

Encocher les montants à l’avant de 1-1/2″ (3,8 cm) aﬁn d’assurer que le matériel

de renfort 2x6 soit à ras contre les montants.

Sécuriser le matériau de renfort 2x6 aux montants avec des clous de cadrage.
