8. Install the Pin Block and Bushing

Secure the Pin Block

Insert the top drill template into the pin block.

Slide the template with the pin block ﬂush against the side panel.

IMPORTANT! Use the bottom holes of the top drill template for this installation. Do not drill through the

side holes of the template.

Hold the top drill template and pin block in place. Using one of the bottom hole guides, drill a 1/8″

hole into the underside of the header.

Remove the template and secure the pin block to the header with a #8 x 1/2″ pan head screw.

Reposition the top drill template into the pin block and drill the second 1/8″ hole into the underside

of the header.

Remove the template and secure the pin block to the header with a #8 x 1/2″ pan head screw.

Install the Bushing

Place the bottom drill template over the threshold and ﬂush against the side panel.

IMPORTANT! Drill only into the top surface of the threshold. Do not drill through the bottom of the

threshold.

Hold the template in place and drill a 3/8″ hole into the top of the threshold.

Use a rubber mallet to tap the metal bushing into the drilled hole.
