ENGINE BACKFIRE/FLASH FIRE

WARNING

Fire.

Can cause severe injury or death.

Do not smoke or permit flame or spark to occur

near fuel or fuel system.

A flash fire can cause severe injury or death. Donot

smokeorpermitflameorsparktooccurnearcarburetor,

fuel line, fuel filter, fuel pump, or other potential sources

of spilled fuel or fuel vapors. When removingfuel lineor

carburetor, use a proper container to catch all fuel.

A suddenbackfire can cause severe injury ordeath.

Do not operate with backfire flame arrestor removed.

Asuddenbackfire cancausesevereinjuryor death.

Do not operate with air cleaner/silencer removed.

Asuddenflashfirecancausesevereinjuryordeath.

Donotsmokeorpermitflameorsparktooccurnearfuel

system.Keepthecompartmentandgeneratorsetclean

and free of debris to minimize chances of fire. Wipe up

all spilled fuel and engine oil.
